§ 9.5-31. Revocation of license; suspension of operation.

If at any time during the period of the license that, upon inspection, the premises
are found to be in such a condition as to endanger the health, safety or welfare of
the public, the commissioner of public works shall order the operation under such
license to stop until such condition is corrected. If the licensee refuses or neglects
to correct and remedy such condition within 30 days after being notified to do so,
such license shall be revoked by the council, and the city shall take the necessary
steps to correct such dangerous or hazardous condition. The costs of such correction
shall be charged against the licensee and if he neglects to pay the costs forthwith
the amount shall be collected from his bond.
