The city will assume responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the
Michigan Building Code, in accordance with Section 9 of Act 230 of the Public Acts
of 1972, as amended, throughout its corporate limits. A copy of the Michigan Building
Code is available for public use and inspection at the office of the city clerk of
the city.
(b)
The Michigan Building Code, in accordance with Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972,
as amended, shall be enforced by the city building department and inspectors, supervised
by the chief code official.
